Stay in one of the three individual apartments in the old center that belongedto the famous opera singer Gabrijela Mrak. Not classical holidays apartments. With 150 years of history and modern amenities. Old pieces of furniture, a private exhibition, original articles from old newspapers, original letters, old photos of Tolmin and area. Learn about the amazing relationship with the legendary Austro-Hungarian royal family Thurn and Taxis, including prince Maximilian and the legendary princess Elisabeth - Sisi. The House Gabrijela Mrak contains three apartments each decorated in its own style and atmosphere: Gabrijela, Irena and Bozena. A homage to three powerful woman owning the house in the past.
The house is still owned by the family. Owner Bogo is available over the phone or email. The tenants of the appartment permanently rented may help in urgent cases. Let us know if you need anything and we'll do our best to quickly accomodate your needs.
Tolmin is a great starting point for all kind of sport activites on the river Soca and the surounding mountains. Trekking, mountain biking, paragliding, cayaking, motorcycling, winter sports. It's all there. You will find many recommendations in the appartment. In the center of the old town, next to the town square and all restaurants, cafes, shops, bus station, post, bank, and ATM. Parking possible in the streets around the appartment or in the large parking space at the sport park Brajda.
