We would be lucky to welcome you to Lúčky, a magical little corner of Central Slovakia, right beside the historic medieval town of Kremnica. Our home is a 2-family on 1+ acres of fenced, private land. Our property is a peaceful, vibrant slice of nature, which we always aim to nurture and appreciate. The rental apartment has a separate entrance and is completely updated. There's a full eat-in kitchen, a dining room with a balcony, a large living room, bathroom with a shower, and two bedrooms that can comfortably sleep 7 people. Visitors have access to plenty of parking and full use of our garden--as weather and seasons allow, visitors may make bonfires, pick and eat our plums, tomatoes, blackberries, cherries, and apples, and share fresh eggs from our hens.
Kremnica is an idyllic place to visit. It's not only home to the world's longest continuously operating mint, but also a fantastically central location for a whole host of year-round activities. The town has some lovely museums and attractions, a few bakeries & sweet shops, several restaurants, and two small supermarkets. Behind our home are hiking trails, which are accessible straight from our property. Within 5 minutes to an hour from our home, we have many caves, hiking/biking trails, natural thermal spas, and other historic towns. For easy day trips from our home, we recommend Krahule and Skalka for hiking & skiing, Sklené Teplice for thermal spas, Šášovský hrad for local castle ruins, Bojnice Castle for a special time, and, of course, the nearby UNESCO World Heritage Site Banská Štiavnica for sightseeing and lake swimming.
