Baan Tao Talay is located on the west coast of Koh Samui on the idyllic tropical beach of Lipa Noi and is an extraordinary beachfront villa offering ultimate luxury, privacy, security and the very best of peaceful island living. Lamai Beach is also within easy reach and should not be missed. Visit the port of Nathon (10 minutes) where the mainland ferry lands. Nathon also has a number of original shops and local life as well as a pretty night market. Only 30 minutes drive away, Bophut is popular with its Fisherman’s Village. Old wooden shop houses add to the charm of the street, where you’ll find fashion boutiques and restaurants. On Fridays, the street turns into a pedestrians-only night market. Packed with bars and clubs, Chaweng also comes alive at night. There is also the Samui Elephant Sanctuary, which is a haven for elephants, just enjoying life in their natural habitat. See the “Grandpa and Grandma” rocks also known as the Hin Ta and Hin Yai Rocks which are rock formations that resemble the male and female genitalia. Also visit Wat Phra Yai (also known as Big Buddha Temple) and Wat Plai Laem temple.
