Focal Local is a small family business and some of the staff is family member. Every function is performed with a lot of attention. For instance, we select fresh and high quality ingredients from local market as if we were cooking for our family. In addition, the guests will experience the fun characters of the rooms at Focal Local. There are different themed rooms with different names. The furniture and all decorative items are handpicked from different parts of Thailand. Some pieces are designed by the owner and are custom-made. We’re delighted to offer the guests a very unique experience.
The owner is a service minded person and has a passionate interest in arts and design. Therefore, he got an idea of having a small family business where all the fields he loves are combined and family members are happily involved.
One of Focal Local’s characteristics can be seen in the hotel’s name. “Focal Local” represents home-like accommodation in the city of Bangkok, but different side of Bangkok. Guests will get a local touch from a small community in Thonburi district with slow living people. The local markets, old fashioned groceries, street food and gourmet restaurants can be found in a walking distance.
