Staff were super nice, bed was super comfortable, place is close to the ferry dock and plenty of shops & restaurants. Room was big, with couch, coffee table, and fridge. Everything was clean and worked well. I'd stay here again.

The beach is generally quite dirty and it seems that the government/council does not do much about it. This applies to restaurants located right on the shore as well (e.g Sunset Cafe). The main road going around the island carries a lot of traffic, making the beach unbearably loud. It is a shame because Koh Samui has a lot of natural beauty. I wish visitors, locals and the government respected it as much as they do Koh Tao.

Nathon is one of the arrival points to Koh Samui.
Nathon is one of the arrival points to Koh Samui. There is not much to see there, though there are some beaches in the vicinity worth to explore. The food is good and not overpriced compared to Lamai or Chaweng beach. Nathon is small, everyrhing in Town is in walking distance.
