The apartment can be rented as a 1 or 2-bedroom option, providing flexibility for your stay.
The fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare meals with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. There’s also a cooler and ice packs available for eco-friendly picnics. The apartment is naturally cooled with screened sunbursts, ceiling fans, and floor fans, reducing the need for air conditioning and conserving energy.
Both sea-view bedrooms are designed for comfort, featuring insect-screened windows and sliding glass doors that open to fresh air. The Castara Roundhouse was built in 2013 by Jenny, Tarum’s mother, who lived on the floor above for over 12 years. Recently, Jenny moved back to England, leaving Tarum to manage the property.
Tarum has deep roots in Castara—he’s married to a local Castarian woman, and together they have four wonderful children. Having visited the island regularly since 2008, Tarum has a wealth of local knowledge and can share insider tips on everything from the best spots for a swim to hidden hiking trails and local dining gems.
