About this property

Situated in Nungwi at the Northern tip of Zanzibar, Highland Bungalows is a short stroll from the beach. The guest house offers a restaurant and open-plan bar. Guests can make use of the outdoor swimming pool that is surrounded by a garden. The African-themed rooms are housed in thatched bungalows. Each has a bathroom with shower and the beds are draped with a mosquito net. Local and International dishes can be ordered at the restaurant. Britta {from Germany} & Albert {from Tanzania} are the owners of Highland. We are trying our best to make our guests feeling like home and are all the time at their service for any information or help. It is always a pleasure meeting people from different countries and having a conversation. Our team is enjoying serving you and using their English skills.

Property information

Our guesthouse is located on a big property in the Northern area of Zanzibar where the rooms are situated on the backside in a quiet chilling area, surrounded by a beautiful garden and a swimming pool, guests can relax on a sunbed, a hammock or simply on their own terrace. All rooms have garden and pool view. To reach the beach it is just a 10 minutes' walk, same distance to visit the village of Nungwi. Our open air restaurant/bar is providing international and local food, not only hotel guests but also locals are enjoying having a drink in the bar or to share a game at the pool tables.

In our neighborhood the guests can find in different shops all kind of stuff as drinks, sweets, fruits, cloths etc. Also local bars are nearby.
