Property information

Built in the 1950's, the building that hosts the apartment, has been renovated to include aspects of modernity while keeping some of the building's traditional Arabic architecture of the early 20th Century. If you would like to experience during your stay in Zanzibar, a mix of modern and traditional Zanzibari decor and living, then this apartment is for you! Efforts have been made to make the apartment comfortable during the time you spend there to discover beautiful Zanzibar. For example, hot water from the shower, air conditioners that work, an equipped kitchen and a desk and comfortable chair to work from, are assured during your stay at the apartment. However, do not hesitate during your stay at the apartment, to reach out to us anytime, for support to make your stay there more comfortable.

Neighbourhood information

The Apartment is less than 5 minutes on foot from Lukman Restaurant, one of the most famous Zanzibari restaurants in Zanzibar. Flamingo Guest House is opposite the apartment. Given that the apartment is at the heart of Stone Town, you can easily get from there, to anywhere in Stone Town. Neighbors of the apartment are mostly locals and at times they and other tourists who pass along the typically narrow Stone-Town-streets that surround the apartment, can be noisy. So please do not forget to come along with earplugs. Neighbors are however very friendly and respectful and incidents of they having robbed or harassed tourists or guests have not happened. At night, the apartment's main entrance/door and the neighborhood are well lit. Two functional surveillance cameras managed by the Zanzibar municipality are installed just above the apartment's main door.
