Villa Karibu is a fusion where Mediterranean architecture meets the flare of African art blended with Western European interior decoration. We set out to create a place where one could relax whilst escaping the hustle and bustle of Kampala city; most importantly, a place where everything worked as per expectations. I wanted plumbing and electrics that worked; comfortable beds and linen and all within budget! Simple as it sounds, I had failed to find a place that ticked all those boxes on my many travels to Kampala. It was out of necessity, that Villa Karibu was born!
Located 2 minutes’ walk off the Namugongo Road, 3 minutes from the world renowned Namugongo Uganda Martyrs Shrine & Zia Angelina Health Centre, 6 minutes from Life Link Hospital , 7 minutes from Quality Shopping Village that is home to Aqua World Water Park , Caramel Café, Banks, Forex Bureau , Dry Cleaners, Gym, Quality Supermarket, retail outlets. Fresh organic local produce is available within a 3 minutes’ walk. We are 10 minutes from Metroplex shopping center that’s home to Metroplex Cinema, Woolworths retail outlet, Carrefour Supermarket, several beauty Parlors, a Kids soft play Centre, Mobile phone customer outlets etc. Ruts lounge & pub, a local favorite is only a 3 minutes’ walk away for live music lovers. Food and drinks deliveries are only an app/phone call away.
