Two-room suite in an owner-occupied townhouse close to Grand Army Plaza, Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum and the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. 5 minute walk to the 2, 3, 4 and 5 trains. The suite is newly renovated and contains a living-dining space with a wet bar / kitchenette, one bathroom, one bedroom and access to the backyard, which is shared with the owner. The kitchenette has a bar sink, a mini-fridge, a microwave and a coffee machine. Tableware and utensils are provided. Please note that the kitchenette is for guest convenience (making coffee, tea, warming up prepared foods) but it is not a fully-equipped kitchen and there is no cooking range. The bathroom has a heated floor and and the tub is equipped with an air-bath feature for relaxation after a long day on the town. You enter the suite right off the main entrance to the building and the front door has a key-code type lock. Please note the following: This is not an apartment, it is a private suite within the owner's townhouse. The owner will be present during your stay and sharing the household. This accommodation is limited to 2 guests over the age of 4 in compliance with NYC Local Law 18. No additional guests are allowed. The front door and common entry hall are monitored by cameras for guest and owner security. There are no cameras in the rental unit.
The townhouse is centrally located on the border of the hip, historic neighborhoods of Prospect Heights and Crown Heights. The Brooklyn Museum, the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, Prospect Park and dozens of restaurants, bars and cafes are in nearby walking distance. Good subway lines are within a 5-10 minute walk (2, 3, 4 and 5 lines). The A, C and Q trains are also within walking distance, but a bit further away.
