Company information

Julianna Acheson has a career as an innkeeper for over seven years. Before this she was a professor of Cultural Anthropology. She chose to move to Kennebunkport for the breathtaking views and friendly folk along with the history and spectacular coastlines. The 1802 House captured her hearts with its quintessential charm, coziness and comfort, each room brings something homey, easy, and enjoyable to a stay.

Property information

The 1802 House Bed and Breakfast is one of Kennebunkport's finest historic Inns. Located alongside the Cape Arundel Golf Club we are a short walk from downtown Kennebunkport with all the popular Dock Square activities but away from the hustle and bustle of town. Our beautiful landscaped gardens and decks make for a relaxing change of pace after a hectic day. Our five rooms, and one Suite, offer understated, casual luxury with updated and modern conveniences. Our breakfasts are prepared fresh daily using local Maine ingredients whenever possible. All dietary issues can be accommodated with advance notice. We are open year around.
