We are Justine and Ken, parents to a toddler and two pups who love adventure and exploring new places. We are excited to share our home with you and hope it makes you fall in love with the desert like we have. This is our home away from home and we want to make sure that you have everything you need to make your stay comfortable and familiar, while also providing something relaxing and special. We are always available through in-app messages or a quick phone call. We love to make sure you have what you need, but like to give our guests space during their stay so we won't message you outside of check-in and check-out unless you prefer us to.
Our home is located in Flamingo Heights, a quiet, tranquil, and eclectic border town to Joshua Tree. We are steps away from La Copine (New American Cuisine), a popular women owned, elevated, roadside, dining experience, and a short drive to Giant Rock Meeting Room (Pizza, Drinks and Live Music), and Moon Wind Trading Co. (Local Artisan Shop). We are located not far off Old Woman Springs Road on well maintained dirt roads, which are easily navigable by any vehicle. Since we are located in the northern part of the Joshua Tree desert area, a car is necessary for traveling to and from popular destinations, sometimes along unpaved, rough dirt roads. We are centrally located to all of the adventures the desert has to offer: - off road trails in Johnson Valley and Landers to the north - short 10 min drive to the tranquil Integratron - 20 min drive to Giant Rock - short 10 min drive to Highway 62 and Yucca Valley - 18 min drive to Pappy and Harriet's & Pioneer Town - 20 min drive to Downtown Joshua Tree - 25 min drive to the entrance to the National Park
