This adorable single-story home will become one of your favorite Hatteras Island getaway spots. Canal front but tucked away behind the Koru campus, you can enjoy all the perks of the island while still feeling a bit remote. Just across the highway, you will find public access to the Avon pier and miles of beach. Also within walking distance and a short drive are several restaurants, shops, and additional amenities the village has to offer. Drive further and explore all the wonderful villages of the island and beyond, such as Ocracoke and the aquarium in Manteo, just to name a few. Inside the home, you will find two lovely screened porches for your convenience and comfort. You will enjoy sipping your morning coffee or evening cocktail in a mosquito-free environment. There is also a dining set on the front porch for those al fresco meals. Everything you need is provided in the fully equipped kitchen, including a dining table. Gather around the living room and play games or watch a favorite movie. Outside you will find plenty of space for fun and games, a fish-cleaning table, and an outdoor shower to help keep your bed sheets sand-free. Sleeping options include three comfortable bedrooms with new mattresses for the 2024 season and additional conveniences like TVs and ceiling fans. THINGS TO KNOW There is a life flight helipad behind the home that is utilized for emergency events approximately 4 times per year. This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC.
