Welcome to our cliffside home, perfectly located between Hunter and Windham mountains in the heart of the Catskills. This modern chalet has undergone a recent renovation to maximize the breathtaking views visible from every corner, including the well-appointed chef’s kitchen. The home also features a spa-inspired bathroom with a sauna, dual-zone shower, and soaking tub. Adjacent to over 300+ acres of wilderness, we invite you to escape life's demands and reconnect to nature.
Guests will have my cell phone prior to arrival. Host will reply to messages on the platform, texts and calls.
Our home is on just over 5 acres of heavily wooded land so although neighboring houses are visible during the winter, the property is very private. Enjoy nature with great skiing, hiking, swimming, and kayaking nearby, or explore the nearby local towns of Tannersville, Hunter, and Windham or travel a bit further to the towns of Woodstock and Kingston. 10 mins → Hunter Mountain 10 mins → Kaaterskill Falls 10 mins → Colgate lake 15 mins →Windham The area is known for local breweries along with amazing farm-to-table restaurants. 1 min → Deer Mountain Inn 5 mins → Jessie’s Harvest House 5 mins → Tabla 5 mins → Pancho Villa’s 10 mins → Schribner’s 10 mins → Hunter Mountain Brewery A vehicle is required to visit the house as public transportation and ride-sharing services are not offered in the area. The house is easily accessible from New York and New Jersey by car — take the I-87 thruway to exit 20. The house is located in Hunter, about 30 minutes past Kingston. There is train service from NYC Penn Station to Hudson, NY. Hudson is 30 minute drive from the house. There are multiple bus carriers offering service between NYC and Hunter.
