Cute dry cabin surrounded by spruce and birch trees. Secluded and cozy, yet only 10 minutes from Fairbanks, UAF, city center, and restaurants. Enjoy nearby hiking trails, snowmobiling, and dog sledding. Auroras visible overhead right the front front deck! Engage nature, yet you can stay connected with Wi-Fi and cell service. Enjoy true Alaskan living in this DRY cabin, (NO PLUMBING OR RUNNING WATER [Host provides full water jugs in cabin for cooking and washing]). The outhouse is just a few steps from the back door. Hot showers for a nominal cost are available just a few miles away at multiple facilities. This dry cabin is located in the midst of the taiga forest and away from the lights of the city for supreme aurora viewing right from the front deck! The cabin has a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with a smart TV and futon, and 3 beds (one queen/full bed and twin beds) and its own private outhouse – the perfect retreat for those who enjoy feeling cozy and enjoying the warm ambiance that this Alaskan cabin offers.
I am excited to offer this dry cabin to you for your stay near Fairbanks. We spent a lot of time setting it up to maximize your warmth, comfort, and experience. I myself love to travel to new places and when I stayed in a similar cabin in Fairbanks back in 2021, I just knew I had wanted my own. So now I offer it to you to enjoy. Feel free to contact the host during your stay for any questions you may have.
Located 10 mins outside Fairbanks in the Goldstream Valley. -15 min. drive from Fairbanks International Airport -7 min. drive to University of Fairbanks -12 min. drive to Fred Meyer grocery store -5 min. drive to Ivory Jacks restaurant -9 min. drive to the laundromat and showers -24 min. drive to Birch Hill ski resort -28 min. drive to Ski Land resort -20 min. drive to Moose Mountain ski resort Asphalt maintained roadway all the way to the street, then maintained gravel street to the front door. We always recommend AWD or 4x4 when traveling in Alaska. The area is served by Uber, Lyft, and Taxi. Off street parking is available at the cabin.
