I owned an outfitter store in downtown Galena for 16 years and have always loved the hospitality business. I love to travel myself and share my experiences. As well I like to point customers to what I call "hidden jewels" or places that are not over marketed and offer unique and wonderful experiences.

Abe's Spring Street Guest House is a uniquely beautiful historic stone house that offers an artistic flare and exceptional guest amenities. We take pride in providing a friendly and relaxing environment in the lovely little town of Galena, IL. We're located within walking distance of almost everything downtown, yet we're far enough away to be in a quaint and more private location.

Neighbourhood information

Spring street is lined with historic buildings, galleries and shops. It's only two blocks to the Galena River, where you can perch on a bench and watch kayakers paddle by, or people and dogs playing in the park across the river. An off the beaten track location, yet a lovely one and near to everything good.
