Set in the 135+ year-old Kincaid-Wade House, the lovingly restored Queen Anne Victorian offers historic character and modern comfort just a 5-minute walk from downtown. Original fireplaces, tall windows, and transoms meet curated art, updated furnishings, and luxurious touches.

Just a 5-minute walk from downtown Alpine, our B&B is in the 135+ year-old Kincaid-Wade House, a lovingly maintained Queen Anne Victorian on an acre in the Historic District. The home features 7-foot windows, high ceilings, original fireplaces, glass transoms, hardwood floors, beadboard paneling, and rare interior spindlework. We've blended old-world charm with modern comforts, art, and thoughtful updates.

Our neighborhood is part of Alpine’s quiet and historic heart, where tree-lined streets and century-old homes reflect the town’s deep roots and relaxed pace. We’re located in the Historic District, just a short, pleasant walk from downtown shops, restaurants, art galleries, live music, and events like Artwalk and Viva Big Bend. You’ll find it easy to explore Alpine without ever needing to drive.
Even though we're close to the action, the neighborhood remains peaceful. Guests often mention how restful the nights are, with clear skies, cool breezes, and the occasional sound of a distant train. Large trees shade the sidewalks, and the area is filled with well-kept historic homes and friendly neighbors who wave hello.
