Great house/unit in a great location. Walking distance to downtown Anoka and lots of great places. House was clean and ready. Host was immediately responsive both by phone and text. I would absolutely stay here again.

Clean and comfortable, a bit of smell, possibly from cleaning supplies. Also very cold (about 60°) when I arrived shortly after 4. Heat off and several fans, etc. going, possibly trying to get rid of odor?

It was a wonderful unit. Plenty of room and very comfortable. it was located in a quiet neighborhood. It was also close the Lyric Arts where we had tickets for a play. In fact, that was the main reason we booked the unit because it was so...

Welcome to our peaceful apartment located in Anoka, MN! Step inside, relax, and unwind, you'll be greeted by a clean and bright, lower-level apartment in a 4-unit building. This unit has its own separate entrance. The house is beautiful, and the neighborhood is quaint. It’s a cool old house, in a superbly convenient location. Just a pleasant walk from restaurants, bars, breweries, theaters, and antique shops. It's also only 30 minutes to Downtown Minneapolis or St Paul, and 45 minutes to MSP Airport and Mall of America. The house is a late 1800's Victorian home converted into 4 units. Each unit has a fully stocked kitchen and a living room. TV, Wi-Fi, streaming (no cable), linens, towels, hangers, Washer, dryer, and some toiletries provided (once out you will need to provide more). Need to work we have you covered with a designated work spot to set up your laptop and work. No overnight on-street parking in Anoka. Parking is available and located behind the yellow garage. Each unit gets 1 parking spot, additional parking may be available but you will have to request it and be approved.
Candy and Jenni are the owners. We are a close mother-daughter duo. We have owned this property for many years and love to be able to share it with people like you. We have other properties in the twin cities that we also rent.
Anoka was built-up in the mid-1800s around logging operations, where the Rum River and the mighty Mississippi River come together. Later the town profited from potato production, shoe manufacturing, and a state-run hospital. By 1937, Anoka became nationally recognized as a Halloween destination when 12-year-old Harold Blair won a trip to Washington D.C., and brought with him a sweater sewn with an Anoka the Halloween patch on it and a proclamation that named Anoka as the Halloween Capital of the World. It was also one of the first cities in the United States to put on a Halloween celebration that discourages people from playing tricks or causing trouble. If you love Halloween and all the creepiness that goes along with it. You will want to go on one of the many Guided Cemetery Tours or Ghost Tours throughout the historical town. Anoka is a beautiful small town with lots of places to explore and offer including walks along the riverfront, stopping by the dam to enjoy some fishing, and going to a concert at one of our beautiful parks just over the river. Since Anoka is a short 30-minute drive from US Bank Stadium, Target Field and the Excel Energy Center where you can go see the Twins, Wild, Vikings play, or go see one of your favorite singers at one of the many concerts they host. Hope you will enjoy your stay and some of the attractions we have listed.
