San Simeon is the gateway to Big Sur, and a perfect "home base" if you plan on traveling up scenic Highway 1, to the Elephant Seal sanctuary, or visit the famed Hearst Castle. Only 5 minutes south to picturesque Cambria, which is known for it's soulful charm, galleries, shopping, & restaurants. Set away from the hustle and bustle of a more populated beach front area, this is a quiet place, where people come to relax and repair. You are within a short stroll to the restaurants and shops in San Simeon. No pets allowed. No more than 4 guests at any time.
