Close to everything and on the Mousam River, On the River's Edge is our newly renovated guest suite surrounded by beautiful gardens. The unit has its own entrance in the back of our home with a private seating area that looks out over the river. The suite has LR/kitchen area (Queen sofa bed), one bedroom with King size bed and one bath with shower. Two kayaks for you to use. Home is located 10 minute walk from downtown Kennebunk. The Kennebunk beach is a 4.5 mile drive. Portland is a 30 minute drive.
Will be available for you if necessary. We want you to enjoy your stay and privacy.
Located in a rural setting on the river. A short stroll to Main Street, Kennebunk will lead you to restaurants, delicious bakeries, coffee shops and a health food store. Kennebunk offers parks, a bowling alley (with food and liquor), and an outdoor ice skating rink (seasonal). A short drive to a grocery and drug stores, 3 Beaches, walking and biking trails (Eastern Trail) and Lower Kennebunk Village -and of course Kennebunkport. We are 1.5 miles to Rt 95 should you want to explore Portland (Old Porte) or check out the outlets in Freeport or Kittery. Also close to Rt 1 which has wonderful Antique shops and restaurants heading north or south. We are located 1.5 miles from Maine Turnpike. The Wells Regional Transportation Center is 8 miles from our home for the train or bus transportation. Portland International is 21 miles away and Logan in Boston MA is 85 miles away.
