The Durant Station Condominiums offer spectacular ocean views and private oceanfront decks. Elevator service to all levels makes this property a convenient choice for all ages: there's no need to haul luggage or groceries up long flights of stairs. You'll be just a few steps from the ocean via a private wooden walkway. Durant Station also offers a host of amenities, including one of Hatteras Island's largest pools with an adjacent hot tub. The Durant Station Community Center is crowned by the original historic Durant Lifesaving Station tower, a rich piece of Hatteras Island's past. The Community Center is ideal for relaxing with friends, conducting meetings, attending wedding parties and receptions, or simply enjoying the lounge areas which offer a 50-inch plasma TV, a pool table, a gas fireplace, and a complete kitchen on the upper level. This first-floor, corner condo features a large wraparound sundeck, ocean and sound views, and a position just 20 feet from the community laundry facilities. You'll have four TVs, a VCR, four DVD players, a stereo/CD player, satellite HDTV with DVR, and free high-speed WiFi. Enjoy central air conditioning, solid-surface countertops in the kitchen, a storage area for beach items on the parking level, and a fish-cleaning station and grilling areas on the grounds. Things to Know This home has access to a community pool, the community pools in our area are typically open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Community pools are operated at the discretion of the community HOA so the availability schedule may be subject to change without notice.
