Company information

Our property started as a college dormitory in the 1950's, then became a hostel somewhere around the 1960's. Eventually, around the 70's it was expanded into an Inn and resembles what you see today. In 1994 it was purchased and was renamed "The Cinnamon Bear Inn" which has continued the property's history of serving visitors to Mammoth Lakes until the present.

Property information

Guests love that they can secure a reservation with only a 10-dollar non-refundable deposit (unless it's within 3 days and all will be charged). Situated in the heart of Mammoth, nestled into the woods, the Cinnamon Bear Inn has 22 rooms, each uniquely decorated, and serves a wonderfully warm made-to-order breakfast. It is located right behind the luxury outlets and Shat's Bakery off Main St. Several restaurants, rental shops, trails, and public transportation are within walking distance. Centrally located to everything in town.

Neighbourhood information

Mammoth Lakes is, without question, one of the most beautiful towns in the country. There are hundreds of lakes just a hike away, epic ski conditions on one of the most stellar mountains in the hemisphere, and literally thousands of things to do within an hour's drive. Whether you are into fishing, boating, yoga/health, historical sites, biking, skiing, National Parks, hot springs, and whatever else you can name, Mammoth's got it!
