This 2-bedroom, 1-bath property offers a cozy living space with a fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a remodeled bathroom. Enjoy outdoor relaxation on the front porch overlooking a lake or in the fenced backyard with a deck, fire pit, and grill. I’m semi-retired in mid 60’s semi-retired and manage several Airbnb rentals. Enjoy a variety of outdoor activities and exploring new places—follower of Jesus. We have several Airbnb houses and I try to make each one a place where I would love to stay. We don't stay in hotels anymore, but instead check out Airbnbs and bring back the best ideas we find. We are available if you need us but live an hour away if we need to respond in person.
Clayton's House is a historic mill house built in 1910. It is surrounded by other mill houses. It is one block from the Haw River where you can go canoeing and kayaking. The house sits on 3/4 acres and over overlooks a small lake where live music is played most weekends during the summer. Clayton's place is 3 miles from historic Saxapahaw, NC, 14 miles from Elon University, 4 miles from Burlington, and 20 miles from Chapel Hill, NC. There are many restaurants within 4 miles.
