Off-the-grid wilderness retreat means no running water or electricity!! Hand pump in kitchen for wash water and outhouse for toilet. Colby's Cabin is a beautiful, rustic log cabin on 10 acres located in a wilderness area minutes to Webb Lake, Tumbledown Mountain & Mt. Blue State Park. Trails are close by. In Maine’s finest hiking, hunting, fishing, boating, skiing and hiking territory. A perfect place for adventure, romance, celebration or serenity. An escape from the electronic world, the cabin has solar and battery lights but no electricity or power generator.
I am a single mother to a wonderful son with Down syndrome and autism. I created Colby's Cabin as a business to help support him. Now after 9 years, this little slice of heaven has become part of the cherished memories of dozens of different families and groups friends who leave stories of life changing experiences in our guestbook!
Colby's Cabin is on 10 acres in a wilderness area in the middle of some of the finest hiking, skiing, biking, boating, fishing, hunting and mountain exploring in Maine.
