Welcome to the Countryside Carriage House, a peaceful and private retreat just minutes from the hustle and bustle of the city. Nestled in a beautiful natural setting, this charming 900 sq ft carriage house offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and countryside charm. The carriage house is located upstairs above a 3 car garage with separate, private entrance. It’s two bedrooms, 1 bath with a living room, kitchen, and laundry closet with full size washer and dryer. Hosts live on site in the main house. No shared living spaces. There is a private pool with waterfall available for guest usage. Completely refreshed in August 2024.
We are Todd and Kelly, parents to three daughters - one adult who just graduated law school, one 9th grader and one 7th grader. We love to travel to new places and stay in short term rentals like ours to have more authentic travel experiences. We loved it so much we decided to be hosts ourselves! The Carriage House was the original structure on our property, and is where we lived full time while we built the main house, where we moved to in 2006. In the years since, it has functioned as a short term home for family and friends. In 2024, we decided to offer it to travelers as a convenient stop on the way to another destination, or as the main vacation jumping off spot. We gave the home a complete refresh, and it’s now ready to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay!
Secluded Yet Connected: located on our 40 acre property, you will experience the tranquility of the countryside while being only 10 minutes from Commerce and 25 minutes from Athens. Easy Access: With quick access to I-85, you’re perfectly positioned for exploring local attractions, shopping, dining, and more, all while feeling a world away.
