This home was designed and built for my parent's retirement. The setting is spectacular. Quiet. Full of life. Timeless. A shallow cove connected to very large, pristine Damariscotta Lake in beautiful Midcoast Maine. Our family has decades of memories that we've created here. The interior space flows from the beauty of the nature within which it is embedded. The rough wood paneling was cut and sawn here on site. Much of the artwork, cool antiques, and other oddities belonged to my parents and grandparents. We have refurnished and painted to take the aesthetic a step towards the future, but kept it firmly rooted in SteamPunk and Nature. Enjoy the sauna next to the wood stove. Do a cold plunge off the dock. Repeat. By evening, enjoy a drink on the screened porch, listening to the loons and frogs. Games for every age. Or a family movie in the theater downstairs.
