The Delano Bed and Breakfast is a century old home that was built in 1910 by automobile dealership pioneer, Morris Schollenberger. The family was also home to a Dr. Good who practiced medicine from the home in the 1930s-50s. The home is furnished in period furniture and tastefully decorated. There is a large garden that is open for our guests to enjoy. The smell of spring blooms are very fragrant during the spring. All summer there are various flowers blooming in the cottage style gardens. There are several seating areas within the garden as well as a garden tea room and fire pit area. Guests enjoy relaxing on the front porch as well as in the parlor where they can watch TV, play cards, read one of the many history books on both Wichita and specifically the Delano District during the cowboy days. It has quite a colorful history! The family dog, Dozer loves guests and is what to meet everyone.

Keith and Sherri are the new owners of the Delano Bed& Breakfast as of March, 23, 2018 they are excited to open their home to you. They love to entertain and are here to help you have the best experience possible. Sherri is known for her culinary skills in the kitchen and will have something special waiting for you when you arrive. Her gift of hospitality is very evident in how she takes care of each guest. Come as a guest and leave as family is our motto.
Delano Bed and Breakfast is tucked away in a turn of the century neighborhood with mature trees. Delano is a wonderful art filled district and only a short walk to the river. Bicycles are available for rent from convenient locations all over the area. Come explore the fun shopping, parks and museums in the area. The B&B is centrally located, near Kellogg & I 135. Both Friends University and Newman University are very close. If you enjoy Baseball, our new Riverfront stadium is walking distance. Old Town District is just a couple miles down the road from us. It is just a 7 minute drive from the airport.
