There are many great homes you can rent but if the weather turns are there enough things to do to occupy your guests? Here your plan B is covered. Our home is on the top of a ridge overlooking the lake on a dead-end road. The house is not lakefront, however, it is a 2-minute drive to the clubhouse beach. Or a short walk. This home is one of the most private homes on the whole Island. The house features everything you could ever want to do for your vacation, even if it rains the home offers plenty of features to keep you occupied. You can even still have an outside BBQ with our covered huge patio under the deck. There is a pool table, ping pong table, shuffleboard table, 3 bars (2 inside) (one outside) a movie theatre that converts to a disco, a music studio, for those that don't play an instrument there is a professional karaoke system that provides hours of fun. The home has two wood-burning fireplaces, a 1,100 sq foot deck with two top-of-the-line Weber grills a smoker. There is a nice size flat yard as well as a fire pit and patio bar in the back with a Bluetooth audio system.
We are new to the Booking platform but have been hosts on other platforms for the past few years with a combined 120 reviews of 4.9 stars.
If you have not been to Candlewood Isle before you are in for a special treat. The New York Times calls it "The best-kept secret less than an hour and a half away from the city" The Isle, is actually an island in the middle of Candlewood lake with a little more than 300 homes. Many people who start off renting become homeowners as we did. You will find the people here warm and inviting with people giving you a wave hello as you drive by. It's just the Isle way. There is a beach club tennis and basketball courts just a short walk from the home. Some of the best hiking s just two miles away and of course, you can rent a boat and enjoy the lake. In the winter there are two close ski areas to enjoy or come ice fishing which is very popular. OUR PROPERTY WAS BUILT AS A 6 BEDROOM BEFORE WE CONVERTED 2 OF THE BEDROOMS INTO THE MOVIE THEATRE AND MUSIC STUDIO. IN ORDER TO BE IN ZONING COMPLIANCE AND SLEEP 12 PEOPLE AT THE HOME WE ARE REQUIRED TO LIST THE HOME AS IT WAS BUILT. PLEASE REVIEW ROOM SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS PRIOR TO BOOKING.
