Experience Seattle in style at this modern & new (built 2016) city apartment.  This 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment is the best of both worlds. You will enjoy the convenience of the nearby Mt. Baker Station (~5 min walk) to explore Seattle without a car or stroll through the Mt. Baker neighborhood and surrounding area. Mt Baker Blvd. is 1 block away & ~10 min walk to  Lake Washington.  Additionally, Columbia City is a mile away, where you can enjoy restaurants, cafes, a movie theatre, and more. **This is new to Booking, but we are a Superhost on ABNB with over 70 reviews** This is a new & modern one bedroom, one bath apartment in the city. It’s in a residential neighborhood with a restaurant and storefront across the street. The apartment is great for couples, solo travelers, families, and travelers that don’t want the hustle bustle of downtown, but proximity to all Seattle has to offer. The apartment is a short walk to the Mt. Baker light rail station and there is also a free parking space if you bring a car. You can get to most places in the city within 10-15 minutes by car or light rail. The apartment has an open & spacious floor plan with plenty of sunlight. Additionally, this apartment has an actual bedroom with a door for privacy from the living room & kitchen area. The apartment has heated floors and radiant heating to stay warm in the chilly months, as well as a portable air condition unit to stay cool in the summer months. As a thank you for choosing to stay here, we provide our guests with welcome refreshments. The living room comes equipped with a smart TV, a lift coffee table that will convert to a workspace, and a pull out sofa to offer more sleeping space to accommodate 1-2 guests. The well-appointed bedroom provides a queen bed to accommodate 1-2 guests, a smart TV, and a spacious closet with extra linen, iron, ironing board, pillows, and space to hang clothes. The bathroom includes a bathtub + shower combo, and more.
We live in the main townhouse adjacent to the apartment. We enjoy meeting new people and are are happy to chat, connect, offer any suggestions, and of course open to feedback. However, the apartment is separate and we value our guests' privacy, so we will let the guests take the lead.
Mount Baker is an upscale, waterfront neighborhood in south Seattle named after the mountain in the Cascade Range that's visible across Lake Washington. The neighborhood is located just south of I-90 and offers convenience, outdoor adventure, and scenic vistas. There are some restaurants around, including fish and chips, Italian, Vietnamese and Thai. Mount Baker is bordered on the north by Leschi, on the east by Lake Washington, on the south by Columbia City, and on the west by Beacon Hill. Additionally, it is very convenient to explore by the light rail since Mt. Baker Light Rail Station is about a five minute walk.
