Welcome to the eastside of Iowa City! My wife and I are snowbirds traveling seasonally to Florida. Upon the advice of a friend and traveling nurse, we have decided to open our home to rentals. We have owned this home for 25 years and love the neighborhood and location. Everything you need is super close. We are new to renting and have been careful to stock the home with anything a visitor might need. We hope you enjoy the house and location as much as we do.
This two-story ranch home sits in a residential pocket of Iowa City's East Side, within walking distance of several schools, including City High, Hoover Elementary, and Southeast Junior High. There's a city bus stop right at the corner, which makes commuting around town easy whether you're heading downtown to the pedestrian mall, to the University of Iowa campus, or to the grocery store. Nearby parks and local shops make it a spot that works well for people who want quiet surroundings without being far from anything.
