After having children we realized staying in a hotel room just wasn’t as comfortable as it once was so we started renting homes when traveling. After staying in some amazing & not so amazing places & my background in real estate & interiors,I decided to start hosting myself. Thank you for allowing me to host you on your upcoming trip. The indoor living space includes a game room w/poker table, lrg screen tvs, 2 king bedrooms, a family friendly space w/bunk rooms, sleeps 14. Beautiful peaceful mountain views,hot tub, 2 fire pits,creek & outdoor dining. Easy access, paved, no 4 wheel drive. 8 miles from Downtown Highlands,1.9 miles from Highlands Waterfalls. Fast Wifi.

The town of Highlands, NC is located in Macon County, the elevation in Highlands is 4,118 with the town of Highlands sitting at 3,850 feet. It is located in the midst of Nantahala National Forest. Amazing natural outdoor attractions are minutes away like, Dry Falls, Cullasaja River Gorge, Cullasaja Falls, Glen Falls & Bridal Veil Falls. Main Street Highlands, with amazing dining and shopping is 8 miles from Gold Mine Ranch. The town of Cashiers, is 17 miles away, and 20 miles from Franklin. Great location and accessible from both Atlanta Airport and Asheville. 10 acres is private with two rentals the Ranch and the Barn available separately or together. Both have there own private amenities or double the space and amenities together. No other homes or neighbors in the space. We recommend having your own vehicle for your time in the mountains. 4-wheel drive is not required to access the home, and the home can be easily accessed with paved roads leading all the way to the driveway. We do recommend for those who are not familiar with the area to try and arrive before dark the first time. Located 15 mins from Downtown Highlands (Main Street)- 8 miles.
