A 12,000 square foot Brick and Limestone 4 story Victorian Home with Steep Slate roof, Dormer windows, a wrap around front porch, 8 fire places, a private garden with Wedding Gazebo, and onsite parking.

Property information

The Hassinger Daniels Guest House becomes more precious each year as fewer Victorian buildings survive. It is a popular destination in historic district tours and in popular magazine stories, such as Southern Living and Southern Beauty. College professors request special visitation by their students so they can lecture about the historic architecture and interiors. Students sometimes write photo journals for their college course credits about the premises. Northern civil rights groups reserve the inns when studying at the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute and the 16th Street Baptist Church. Award winning high school interior design students sometimes stay at the inn to learn about period decorating and domestic arts. The mansion is also available for Weddings, Afternoon Teas, Graduation or Special Event Parties and Corporate meetings/occasion.

Neighbourhood information

The 1898 Victorian mansion is on the National Historic Registry and within the Five Points South historical district of Birmingham, AL. This historic district is also the culinary district of the city boasting 41 walkable restaurants and evening entertainment venues. Five time James Beard Award winner Chef Frank Stitt owns/operates 4 nearby restaurants. The St. Patrick's Day parade is on our street.
