Heron Cove The front of Heron Cove is deceptive—it looks like a very pretty home in a residential neighborhood near Devils Lake. But it’s really a luxurious single-story palace sited on a gorgeous arm of the lake, with a huge fenced yard opening to a slough vibrant with birdsong, reedy grasses and lilypads. A sunroom in the home puts you in a cushy armchair with a full view of the water so you can enjoy the swoop of swallows, the trill of blackbirds and the sight of deer grazing in the slough. The home is beautifully appointed, with hardwood floors, luxury furniture, welcoming decor, a dining room that seats ten and a gorgeous custom kitchen with granite counters. The bedrooms have luxury linens and the baths are exquisitely tiled. A family room with gas fireplace and large flat-screen TV/DVD adjoins the kitchen, while a living room and the sunroom provide extra spaces for quiet conversation. Outdoors a huge, multi-tiered deck, dining table, patio furniture, barbeque and a little boardwalk on the slough will entertain adults and children alike.
