Welcome to Hickory House on the Bay! Charming 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage overlooking the Bay within walking distance of two community beaches as well as a beach car pass. Relax, enjoy the water view, sounds and breezes. Explore this charming and tranquil community, Long Beach by the Bay. Enjoy all that Southern Maryland offers from this centrally located home - Hiking in Calvert Cliffs, kayaking, fishing, boating, exploring local vineyards, dinner in Solomon’s, visiting Historic St Mary’s. We have many wonderful 5.0 reviews!
I am a Maryland native who grew up vacationing with family on the Chesapeake Bay. Hickory House is a little “home away from home.” I hope you enjoy this area as much as I do.
A quiet and tranquil Chesapeake Bay beach community with small, community beaches and a private marina. Easy access from DC and close to Solomon's Island and Historic St Mary's City and Pax River Naval Station. It is easy to walk or ride a bike in this neighborhood (although it is hilly!) We offer a parking pass to park at the beaches. Please return the pass to the welcome basket for our next guest. Without this pass, cars are subject to towing. A car is needed to go further afield and to go for groceries, etc...
