    Loved the location and the ambiance of it. Could not get the mini split to turn on and in the evening when it got a little chilly pulled out a comforter from the cabinet but it smelled like dog, so we used the portable heater that was in the room....

I grew up in Hershey, PA in the US and moved west after graduating college to pursue a Master’s Degree. After years of working in the tech industry, owning a tech firm, I switched gears to pursue my growing 2 passions; real estate and the mountains. For years I owned long term investment properties. In 2016 I made the switch to vacation rentals, seeing the opportunity to both enjoy these beautiful spaces and also share them with others.

Property information

This studio guest house hideaway is set in the midst of the gardens with a private separate entrance just steps away from the tranquility of nature. The interior has all of the comforts of home along with the wilderness just outside for inspiration & creativity. Located on the lower level of the main house, it is accessed via a side walkway that guides you to the private brick-covered porch. For a 28+ night stay, please get in touch with us before booking. We will provide bi-weekly cleaning at the price quoted, or there is an option to self-clean with a refundable cleaning deposit of three hundred fifty dollars. The longer-term cleaning fee is two hundred twenty-five dollars. The difference between this fee and the initial cleaning fee paid upon booking will be collected along with the deposits before check-in. The Short Term Pet discounted fee for non-shedding dogs is twenty-five dollars per night per dog. If your dog is on the list we will need a picture of you and your dog(s) (together) submitted prior to check-in day. The Short-term regular Pet fee for other dogs or approved pets is fifty dollars per night per pet. The long-term pet fee (28+ nights or longer) is one hundred fifty dollars per dog per month. For non-shedding dogs on the list, the monthly fee is ninety-five dollars per month. For the long-term stay, if you participate in our Happy Paws Promotion, you will have a discounted rate of fifty dollars per month per dog for non-shedding dogs and ninety-five dollars per month per dog for the regular pet fee. A refundable pet deposit of more than 2 approved pets is five hundred dollars. Please get in touch with us for the approved list of non-shedding dogs along with the breed and age of your pets.

Neighbourhood information

The Hideaway is on a circular street (non through street) which gives the house it’s privacy and off the beaten track feel. The location is Twin Peaks in between Lake Arrowhead and Crestline. Lake Arrowhead Village is approximately 2 miles from the house. Twin Peaks (also know as Blue Jay) has it’s own restaurants, farmer’s market, and grocery stores. Biking around the neighborhood is possible, car recommended for most things.
