There is a perfect 2-mile loop that we recommend, to the end of the cul-de-sac to the other side of the main street, for a brisk 30-minute workout. Further afield, Potomac is teeming with fun-filled options for both families and adults. From hiking and serene gardens to art museums and markets, here are a few must-visit attractions that you and your loved ones should explore. If you love hiking and nature walks, you'll enjoy exploring hike trails around Potomac. The Great Falls Canal Trail is one of the most popular places for families to enjoy a picnic or a bike ride. The trail runs along the beautiful Potomac River and the C&O Canal.
