Beach Villas at Kahalu’u is one of the newest condo complexes built along the lush Kona Coast on Alii Drive. Completed in 2005, it is located directly across the street from the historic Kahalu’u Beach Park. Hawaiian people once fished and surfed here, and chieftains bathed in pools that are still visible and preserved on site. Today Kahalu’u Beach Park is a destination for all who love the sea, especially snorkelers, scuba divers and surfers! You will be amazed at the spectacular array of fish waiting below the waves, and of course, the renowned green sea turtles! Consider this “your own backyard” while visiting the Big Island -- it’s only steps away from your lovely condo offering great views of the beach and sunsets, right from your own private lanai!
We are the owners of two condos in this building -- this one, which is on the second floor, and another one that's on the ground floor (listing #2998096). They are in a great location right across the street from one of the most desirable beaches along the Kona Coast! Since the first time we visited, it has been our dream to own a small piece of paradise. And now we would like to share it with you! Donato and Trish (me) are from southern California. I am an avid gardener and amateur photographer, and I love to travel. In the past, I studied in Italy and worked for an Italian trade office in the US, and I speak Italian fluently. Donato is a consultant in the ceramic tile and stone industry, helping to solve complex issues related to installation failures. We both work in the company he established over 15 years ago. Donato enjoys construction, solving problems, reading, sports and travel.
Beach Villas at Kahalu’u is very well situated. Far enough away from the busy center of town, but still close enough to go and enjoy the restaurants, bars, coffee shops, farmers markets and stores that are in Kailua-Kona (about four miles north). For a quick trip to the KTA supermarket, head south to the Keauhou Shopping Center where you can also find a movie theater and other eateries. There are so many activities to take advantage of on the island – whether it is renting bicycles, going fishing, visiting a coffee plantation, going on a night dive to see the great Manta Rays, touring a botanical garden or viewing magnificent waterfalls from a helicopter – we urge you to explore the Big Island!
