The Elk Chalet is a mountain modern home at the top of Sleepy Hollow. Look over the Blue Ridge Mountains & Pisgah National Park at an elevation of 3,300 ft while enjoying your complimentary snacks at our s'mores bar or relaxing in our 5-person hot tub! Located only 12 minutes from Boone or Sugar Mountain with a 33 minute drive to Beech Mountain! Our guests are welcome to the Mill Ridge community tennis courts, seasonal swimming pool, private clubhouse, playground, and hiking trails!

As an App State alum, I love the Boone area! From mountain biking to snowboarding to hiking, the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all. I love being able to help my guests experience this beautiful place by providing the best vacation rentals possible! I want all of my guests to feel just as "at home" in the High Country as I do!

Sleep Hollow and Mill Ridge are the neighborhoods you will be traveling through to get to The Elk Chalet. Both ways up to the top are one way roads so be careful of others coming down! The neighborhood is complete with community tennis courts, seasonal swimming pool, private clubhouse, basketball court, playground, and hiking trails. Roads are scraped frequently, but 4WD is highly recommended for snow! Neighborhood roads are one lane so be aware of cars coming the opposite direction. Parking lot fits 3 cars comfortably. 5 cars is possible.
