Located at the top of Prospect Street in Galena’s scenic Historic District and overlooking the heart of Downtown Galena, Illinois, our beautiful, traditional-style bed and breakfast is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Each of the 4 guestrooms at the Lamberson Guest House have a unique personality that captures the historic charm of Galena. Thoughtfully appointed and decorated, our luxury accommodations feature custom handcrafted king and queen sized beds topped with lavender-rinsed sheets for a sound night’s sleep. Stylish lighting and comfortable furnishings make our bed and breakfast the ideal place for relaxing and enjoying hospitality at its finest. A wine and cheese reception is offered daily at 4:00 in the parlor or courtyard, weather permitting.

Neighbourhood information

Guests have a myriad of lovely restaurants in town and reservations are always a good idea, especially in the nicer weather months. P.T. Murphy, a master magician in town has a wonderful show and tickets are available online. Many great tours are available. Haunted Galena Tour company has a ghost tour and a haunted happy hour that my guests truly enjoy. Take a trolley around town and see areas you might not have a chance to experience and hear all about our lovely old town that time forgot.
