A charming home conveniently located between Boone, Todd, West Jefferson and Wilkesboro. 20 minutes to downtown Boone a hub of delicious restaurants, popular shopping stops and more. 18 minutes to West Jefferson bring you to a quaint downtown featuring the Old Barn Winery, famous doughnut shop, and small town shopping and dining. 25 minutes to Tweetsie Railroad and ASU, 6 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, 30 minutes to Blowing Rock, and 30 minutes to Wilkesboro, home of the famous yearly Merlefest festival. Lorien offers a fantastic place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the wonders of the High Country. Mountain modern comfort with thoughtful design throughout give Lorien a fun yet relaxing atmosphere. An outdoor wood burning fire pit, family room with a ping pong table and arcade game provide entertainment for all. The main level living has an open floor plan and is thoughtfully designed with leather sofa, gas fire place and mounted tv, surrounded by walls of windows. The dining area and kitchen island provide seating for a full house to dine together with convenience, adjacent to the kitchen featuring beautiful granite counters and high end stainless appliances. Outside, a large deck features a gas grill, an outdoor dining table, and additional seating, overlooking seasonal wooded and mountain views. The main floor master bedroom has a queen bed, tv, deck access and a private bathroom with a gorgeous tiled step in shower. A second main level master bedroom has a king bed, tv, deck access and private bathroom. A third main level bedroom has a queen bed, tv and hallway bathroom. The main level also offers a quite office space with a desk, computer monitor and comfortable modern desk chair. Downstairs the family room offers more space to spread out, with a ping pong table, arcade game, tv area and wet bar with sink and beverage chiller. Wake up to lovely views in the downstairs king bedroom.
