We've been renting our home since 2018, but this is our first time on Booking. Experience an unforgettable Big Island retreat that stands apart from the rest at this beautiful condo in Mauna Lani Palm Villas Resort! From the tranquil setting to the luxury finishes, this wonderfully positioned corner condo offers a special glimpse of Hawaii's natural wonders. You'll have free access to the private Mauna Lani Beach Club which is great for small children, families, and some of the best snorkeling on any of the islands, a waterfall swimming pool, hot tub, and a fitness room!
I grew up in New York, but have lived in California for most of my life. I was a school teacher and principal and had a small educational consulting company providing professional development to teachers, parents and school administrators. I am married and we have two great kids. We are very active with sailing, biking, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, Stand Up Paddleboarding and enjoying the outdoors. We spend as much time as we can on the big island of Hawaii and visiting our friends around the world. If you have any questions or concerns while on the island, you will be able to contact our on-island contact person.
We love the Palm Villas for its proximity to the Beach Club. The water is calm and safe for children and the snorkeling is some of the best on any of the islands, other than on the rare stormy day. The Palm Villas is a private gated community of only 44 units, as compared to larger complexes on the resort and in the area with hundreds of units. We love the lava rock and waterfall surrounding the swimming pool. Although we don’t travel during peak holiday season, we’ve never seen it full and often have it all to ourselves. We love our view of the Historic Kalahuipua’a Lava Fields and Fish Ponds. You can go to a lot of places and see the ocean, but this view is incredibly unique. When you sit out on the lanai, sometimes you can hear the crashing of the waves. There is parking for one car or mid-size SUV in the garage and parking for one additional vehicle on site.
