McKinley House is a new way to stay. Our philosophy is simple--why pay for stuff you don't need? Like for space you won't use because there are just two of you? And how about deposits, linen charges or crazy cleaning fees? Isn't traveling expensive enough? We thought so too, and designed our house to meet your needs--whatever they are. You always get a private stay in a place to call your own at a fair price. From one guest to seven guests, McKinley House expands to meet your needs.
I decided to rent out my guest bedroom so that I could get a hot tub. Come on guys, help me get a hot tub!! Then I bought the house next door for my parents - if they need it - but for now I'm stuck with a second mortgage, so I can't afford that hot tub yet! I live next door and may drop over to introduce myself and answer any questions you may have. If not, I can be easily reached through the Airbnb App, by phone, or you may drop over. Please contact me with any questions or concerns during your stay.
This is a quiet, safe neighborhood three blocks off a main road. Getting around Amarillo is easy. You can reach any destination in the city in about 20 minutes. It's 4 miles to downtown; 8 to the hospital district, 12 to the airport, 13 to WTAMU and 21 to Palo Duro Canyon. Street, driveway, or garage parking is available free of charge. Public transportation is approximately 4 blocks away. Amarillo has taxi, Lyft and Uber service.
