This modern cabin is nestled in beautiful Florissant Colorado, about 45 minutes west of Colorado Springs. The cabin is adjacent to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument which features great trails, Fossilized redwood stumps, and an abundance of other plant and insect fossils. This park is also one of only 120 International Dark Sky Parks in the world, giving you some great views into the galaxy. Just a short drive away you'll find world-class hiking, fishing, ATV/UTV trails, numerous outdoor wonders/activities, and some unique experiences. Check out a few of our favorites below: *Colorado Wolf and Wild Life Center - Unique and up close and personal experience with wolves. Check out the "Full Moon Feeding Tours". *Mueller State Park - Tons of amazing trails and outdoor activities. *11 Mile State Park and The Dream Stream - World-class Gold Medal fishing and amazing scenery. *Cripple Creek - Old mining town with rich history, mine tours, casinos, roaming donkeys, and a large wooden troll. *Paradise Cove - Unique alpine pond cliff jumping after a great hike.
