Culinary comforts and open-plan living space await you in this sunny mountain refuge. South facing and filled with light, this home has all the amenities you will need for a Catskill retreat. Movie loft and upstairs bunk room will delight the children. Parents can enjoy drinks at the kitchen island, long diners at the dining table or quiet conversation in front of the stone fireplace. Hikers can walk to trailheads leading to tranquil mountain hikes. Minutes to skiing at Windham or Hunter.
I'm a financial services lawyer originally from CT. Am a passionate cook and baker, and I owned and ran a series of kitchenware shops in Asia for over nine years. I enjoy yacht racing, travel, hiking and yoga. I am available by message on this platform or by telephone generally from 7pm until 11 am.
The house is situated in a valley near the top end of a mountain basin surrounded mostly by state forest land. It is a very beautiful and private location, yet only ten minutes from ski area. Popular hiking trails are walking distance away and wild life is abundant. Private driveway and parking for multiple cars. Driveway is plowed in the winter but is long and extremely steep so four-wheel drive vehicles are recommended in winter. Guests may need to walk up the driveway in the event there is a heavy snow fall.
