Mountain Retreat is truly a mountain retreat located high up on the Green Mountains in the Chimney Hill resort community with endless recreation opportunities.
The Mountain Retreat hosting is done by its owner A. Joseph Rogers retired from the life long field of electrical engineering. The last 20 years working for Disney/ABC/ESPN designing, installing and maintaining electrical/electronic systems used in television broadcasting. Before television worked in the field of non-destructive testing as the service manager for equipment distributor of industrial x-ray systems, ultrasonic test equipment, mag-particle inspection machines (aka MagnaFlux testing) and florescent penetrant inspection systems. Grew up in a family of a home builder from Waterbury, CT where I worked and was trained that trade before completing electronics schooling. My family was one of the first to build a home in Chimney Hill that was completed in 1970 in the "B" section were as child participated in every step of the building of that house.
Chalet is located in Chimney Hill 4 seasons resort community just minutes from the Mount Snow ski area. The area has offers many recreational opportunities, skiing and snowboarding, snowmobiling and hiking trails, skating ring, tennis and pickle ball courts, clubhouse with many amenities including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, boating and water skiing on the Harriman Reservoir.
