My Valhalla Farm is settled on 9 acres and is home to 2 donkeys, horse and mule and 6 cats. The rental unit was built in 1840 and offers 3 bedrooms and 2-1/2 bathrooms. The wide pine floors are original to the home as well as other details.
Hi, I'm Kathleen -Proud host of My Valhalla Farm - a working farm that offers a charming Guest House with rustic charm in Oakland Maine. Whether renting the whole unit or just staying in one of the private rooms, I've tried to create a welcoming space for travelers to relax, reconnect with nature (and animals!) and enjoy the simple pleasures of the farm life.
The one thing that I love about this place is that from the back of the house, it abuts to over a hundred acres of trails and fields, which makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere but within 5 minutes, you can access the lake, grocery store, bagel shop, take-out restaurants and Walgreens etc.
