We love hosting because we get to meet people from all over the world and give them tips on how to enjoy the majesty of Humboldt County. We are avid hikers, river kayakers, snorkerlers, etc so we can offer great tips on how to make the most of your stay.

Property information

This brand new house sits on a 2 acre property with a large native plant garden including Redwood and Maple trees and has an outdoor fire pit. It sits on a quiet, rural road with friendly neighbors but is only a 5 min drive to grocery stores and 12 mins from the cute town of Arcata. The Mad River is a few hundred feet away with easy access for a swim in the summer! With tall vaulted ceilings and radiant floor heating, the house feels like lofty luxury. The gorgeous and warm turquoise floor feels like walking on water. Boasting a large walk-in shower for 2, super comfortable mattress, Smart TV, private driveway, all new applainces including full size fridge and stove , on-site washer and dryer, and all the extra amenities for daily life you might need. This is an amazing place to call home!

If you’re a nature lover, Humboldt county has endless beauty to behold. It is home to the tallest trees on the planet. It boasts majestic cliffs overlooking the ocean. Crystal clear rivers and pebble beaches meander through its rolling hillsides. There are lagoons to kayak in, dunes and forests to hike in, rivers and beaches to swim in, and this luxurious house to relax in. Grocery stores, restaurants and coffe shops are just 5 mins away, while the cute downtown area of Arcata is just a 12 min drive away.
