If you're more of a grill master than an Iron Chef, walk over the community charcoal grill and set the table for a family-oriented summer cookout! Finish off the evening by watching your favorite movie on the mounted flat-screen cable TV in the living room before calling it a night. The first bedroom offers a comfortable queen mattress while the upstairs loft is fantastic for small families or groups of close friends! Local favorites include Just Hooked, Rusty Jimmies, Cafe Mirage, Tailchasers Restaurant & Dock Bar, Jimmy's Kitchen, Our Harvest, and Lizzie's Cafe & Bistro 142nd St. Walk just over a ½ mile to work on your tan on Maryland Beach, a long-standing beach located on the north end of Ocean City. There are plenty of other beaches around if you're looking for a change of scenery like the Ocean City Beach, Inlet Park, and the beach at Fenwick Island State Park. Days that are not spent on the beach are best utilized by visiting one of the area's local parks and natural sites. A few fun, natural areas to visit near your beach abode are Northside Park, Fenwick Island State Park, the Assawoman Wildlife Area, and the Isle of Wight Department of Natural Resources Management Area. Other ideas for fun include renting a fishing charter at the Island Watersports Marina, taking the kids to Viking Golf & Go-Karts or Thunder Lagoon Waterpark, or simply going for a leisurely drive along the coast and soak in the fantastic views!
