Steps from back deck to dock have open handrails (no spindles), must use caution. Child safety gate at top of steps leading to the dock. We ask children be supervised while descending steps. All steps are lit. FISH GALORE Herrington Lake has had a reputation as one of the best fishing locations in Kentucky for many years. You can find bluegill, catfish, crappie, hybrid striped bass, largemouth bass, spotted bass and white bass. The fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down.
