We are honored to offer this Historic home for others to enjoy some history while staying in the Ocala area.

Property information

This Frame Vernacular Style Home was built in 1918. It is named for Emanuel Martin who was a partner in the Law Firm Martin and Hocker. His family were among the first settlers to Marion County in the 1840s.

Neighbourhood information

The apartment is a 10 minute walk through the historic district to the downtown square where you can enjoy dining, shopping, and live music. Art walk is the first Friday of each month from 6pm-9pm in the square. The event does pause for the summer months. The downtown farmers market is held each Saturday from 9am-2pm We are located 8 miles from the new World Equestrian Center and 6 miles from Silver Springs State Park. Waking to downtown is about a quarter of a mile. The historic district is filled with amazing architecture to gaze at as you stroll down the street. A car is recommended for longer distances. There is a limited bus system in the city as well.
